Waste & Residues from Vegetable Oil Processing

Waste and residues from vegetable oil refining and processing is a broad definition and includes waste and residues such as acid oils, soap stock, tank bottoms and biodiesel and vegetable oil refining residues. The origins of the product can be from vegetable oil refining, such as palm, canola, or soybean oil, as well as biodiesel production.

Depending on the product, this category qualifies as a waste/residue or advanced feedstock under European Renewable Energy Directive and can be used to produce biodiesel, HVO, SAF or bioenergy.
