POME

Palm Oil Mill Effluent is the unavoidable wastewater arising from palm oil production at a palm oil mill. Oil that is recovered from POME shall be referred to as POME oil. Oil which is not recovered from the wastewater of a palm oil mill cannot be labeled as POME oil. Through our strong presence and network in the Latin American vegetable oil industry we are in the position to supply POME oil from different origins in different quantities. Through our presence we can offer a stable supply of products with consistent quality, sourced directly from the mill – guaranteeing the integrity of the product and full traceability.

POME qualifies as an advanced feedstock under the European Renewable Energy Directive and can be used to produce biodiesel, HVO or SAF.
